Overproof Charter Fishing
Captain Peter Rans is one of Bermuda’s most respected professional fishermen, having won the Bermuda International Light Tackle Tournament in both 2003 and 2006.
He offers a variety of fishing charters on Overproof, a 41 foot Custom Carolina fishing boat. These include full-day (8 hours), ¾-day (6 hours) and ½-day (4 hour) charters
Marlin and night shark fishing charters are also available.

We felt like we were taken for an expensive ride rather than marlin fishing. We were told later by other captains that it was unlikely that we were going to get a marlin and should have been fishing for something else. Pretty disappointing.
Rates for 2007 are full-day $1200, 3/4 day $1050, half-day $875. All based on 4 people. For 5th and 6th persons add $50 per head.
