Bermuda Perfumery

In 1928 the Bermuda Perfumery began creating and manufacturing fragrances from the island’s flowers at Bailey’s Bay in Hamilton Parish.

In 2004 the business was acquired by the Blackstone family and moved to the Stewart Hall, a beautiful 18th century house on Queen Street in St George

All perfumes are made on the premises under the brand Lili Bermuda. Fragrances are available for men and women, and complimentary range of body lotions, soaps, and show gels is also offered.

Visitors are welcome to take a free tour of its operations and learn how perfumes are made. There’s also a pleasant garden here planted with many of the flowers used in their products.

The Bermuda Perfumery is open Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. It can be seen in our video of St George at 5.09:

This past June, knowing my Brother was going to Bermuda, I asked him to purchase for my a bottle of the Oleander Eau de Toilette from the Bermuda Perfumery; I'd had it before and really enjoyed the scent. When he brought it back and I went to wear it, the smell was that of a man's after shave. I contacted the company by e-mail, and was told that, indeed, they had put a man's after shave scent in bottles marked "oleander" and had thought they'd gotten all the mislabeled bottles. They apologized and said they'd send me a bottle of the oleander scent. That was on 8/1/11, and, here it is 8/23/11, and I have yet to receive the promised bottle.

Several years ago, my husband and I visited the Bermuda Perfumery. I purchased a fragrance named FRANGIPANNI. It was the most exotic island perfume I had ever experienced.
