Bermuda Memories - Jill's Studio

A wall in our living room. is covered with 5 Jill Amos Raine watercolors, 4 of which were commissioned. We absolutely treasure our collection and Jill is as lovely as her artwork!

We met Mrs. Raine at an art fair, during a cruise stop-over, and bought several pieces from her. It was about 10 years ago and myself and my children were thrilled to each choose a print for our bedrooms, where they still hang. Every time we go back to Bermuda, we buy more. It's wonderful to look up and see Mrs. Raine's vision of Bermuda's magical colors and limpid waters!

We met Jill in her studio on our 1st trip to Bermuda and purchased 3 prints. She's a lovely lady, talked for a while and signed our purchases. It's a great way to bring the memory of Bermuda home with you. We went back a 2nd year! While recently vacationing in RI we found an original JAR painting at an estate sale and were thrilled to purchase it!

I have a lovely small painting of Jill's entitled St. George's Harbor Bermuda dated 1994. It was purchased in Bermuda and now hangs in my home in Maine.

I met Jill on a Beach and the piece she was working on was so nice I ordered a copy of the painting and it was only half complete. Perfect.

'Light across the harbour, Bermuda 1997' - bought in Scotland. Very nice.

I heard about Jill and David from a relative of theirs that lives here in Henry Ford Village (retirement living complex) in Dearborn, MI. Ms Doris Dedecker was 1995 Woman of the Year in Michigan.

We've been collecting Jill's work for years and appreciate the tranquility and beauty they bring to our home.

Wonderful work. Best feeling for Bermuda colors and moods and most original eye for memorable places in Bermuda. Every watercolor could be a postcard.

Didn't buy anything here but the lady was very helpful and told me how to get to Tobacco Beach.
