Warwick Pond

Warwick Pond is one of Bermuda’s hidden gems, its whereabouts unknown to many locals. It is the second largest freshwater pond in Bermuda and is set in 9 acres of woodland containing Bermuda cedar and large allspice trees. The area is owned and managed by the Bermuda National Trust and was acquired with the help of a donation by American philanthropist Dennis Sherwin.

In December 2003 a new walking trail was opened, linking the site to the Railway Trail. Dotted along the path are signs informing visitors of the significance of the flora and fauna found here. Warwick Pond is home to many native birds and visiting migratory species.

Warwick Pond can be accessed from Middle Road or the Warwick section of the Railway Trail.
