The Irish Linen Shop

Despite its name this shop sells much more than Irish linen. Even if you’ve not got the slightest intention of purchasing anything its worth popping in just to see what an $800 antique handkerchief really does look like. If you see somebody purchasing one please ask them why plain old simple Kleenex won’t suffice.

Seriously though, the Irish Linen Shop does sell a wide range of fabric products and many of them are very affordable and well below US prices. Here you can find the tablecloths and napkins by Souleiado of Provence, France. Their vibrant, sun-drenched colours and bold designs are enough to bring even the most staid of dinner parties to life. The ladies of the Portuguese island of Madeira are world-famous for their embroidery skills, and the Irish Linen Shop source many of their products from here. Tablecloths, cotton blouses, doilies, napkins and handkerchiefs (affordable and with your initials if you desire) are all available.
