Immigration: Entry Documents Required for Visitors from the US and Canada
Though not strictly required, a passport is still the preferred document required for entry into Bermuda. Note when using any documentation without photo ID (e.g. birth certificate) you will need to also present photo ID issued by a competent municipal authority (e.g. driving licence).
Visitors from the US
Note: The first stage of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative comes into force January 23 2007. This is a US requirement for travellers going between the US and the Caribbean, Bermuda, Panama, Mexico and Canada.
