Aunt Nea's Inn

Aunt Nea’s Inn is an upmarket Bermuda bed and breakfast which takes its name from the ‘Odes to Nea’; a volume of romantic verse by Irish poet and guest Thomas Moore. He stayed here for a short while in 1804 and put quill to paper in admiration of Hester Louisa Tucker, a young woman living next door to the Inn.

The Inn is famed for its luxurious and unparalleled beds. All rooms are appropriately furnished with antiques and include four-poster, canopy or sleigh beds. Tray ceilings with exposed cedar beams, a classic feature of early Bermudian architecture, give Aunt Nea’s Inn a genuine historic atmosphere.

Proprietors Delaey Robinson and Andrea Dismont have created a homely ambience. Guests take continental breakfast at a large dining table and enjoy fresh fruit, muffins, scones and tea. Those seeking a little more peace and solitude can enjoy theirs on the upper veranda.

The accommodations consist of 12 guest rooms, 2 one-bedroom suites and the house of a former innkeeper. All have telephones, air conditioning, cable TV and private bathroom. The Inn operates a no smoking policy throughout.

Situated in the historic town of St George, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, there’s a wealth of activities and sights at hand. The St George’s Golf Course is just a stone’s throw away and there’s a vast array of cultural attractions in the towns such as the Bermuda National Trust Museum, the Deliverance, Fort St Catherine, the Old State House, St Peters Church, the Tucker House Museum and the Unfinished Church. Tobacco Bay Beach is just a short walk from the Inn.

Van & Rose Bricker :
My wife and I stayed at the cottage in 1972 when we first went to Bermuda. Then it was run by Mrs Robinson. We absolutely loved it then.
In 2006 we went back again and it was just as wonderful. We recommend it to anyone that wants to experience the real hospitality of Bermuda.
Shelly :
My husband and I stayed here back in 1998. I've been missing it ever since. I've just been biding my time until we can go back. The place is beautiful, and easily accessible to everything of interest in St. George's.
Dave :
I've never stayed here but the owner is really helpful. I was driving around St George on my bike and lost. I'd passed him a few times and then he stopped me and was very kind and helped me find my destination. He told me he ran Aunt Neas Inn so I presume it was Delaey.
