Dawkins Manor
Dawkins Manor is an 8 unit apartment complex tucked away in a quiet residential area of Bermuda. Owned and managed by Celia Dawkins, it has won numerous awards from the Department of Tourism.
The apartments vary but all come with full kitchen or cooking facilities, telephone, air-conditioning, separate bathroom, clock radio, hair dryer and iron. Some of them have private patios. There’s a freshwater swimming pool with terrace and sun chairs and a guest lounge with cable TV and plenty of books to read.
Dawkins Manor is centrally located and is close to Elbow Beach. The Modern Mart grocery store is just a few minutes’ walk away and there’s also a Bank of Butterfield ATM here. The nature reserve at Paget Marsh and the Railway Trail are also close by.
The bus stop on South Road is just a short stroll away, giving easy access to Hamilton, Royal Naval Dockyard and the beaches at South Shore Park. Visitors wishing to explore Bermuda on their own can rent a scooter nearby at Eve’s Cycles or Oleander Cycles.
