Greenbank Guest House & Cottages
Greenbank Guest House is located on a small peninsular with superb views of Bermuda’s capital and Whites Island across Hamilton Harbour. Although it is not on a bus route, it’s just a short walk to the Salt Kettle Wharf, where ferries can be caught to Hamilton.
There are 11 separate accommodations of various types. Some are situated inside the main house, which is over 200 years old, and others are in cottages dotted around the landscaped grounds. The main house has a lounge, complete with grand piano and television, for the use of guests. Incidentally, many of the exposed cedar beams in the house actually come from old cargo ships that used to make the voyage between Bermuda and the US. Greenbank also has a private waterfront dock where guests can take a dip.
As with most accommodations in this category no meals are included. However guests staying in the rooms without kitchens are served continental breakfast in the morning.
Elbow Beach, Belmont Hills Golf Club, the Railway Trail and Paget Marsh are about a 5 minute drive from the property.
