Coco Reef

Recently renovated, the Coco Reef Bermuda is a beachfront resort located on the Island’s popular South Shore, famous for its long stretches of beautiful pink sand and azure waters.

The $10 million redevelopment has brought many improvements including a breathtaking new lobby. It features a soaring fifty foot atrium and crystal skylight, an intricately patterned quarry cut marble floor, antique furniture, and a wide collection of Caribbean art.

All 64 rooms have been totally refurbished and feature wicker furniture and a fabric design custom made to reflect the traditional pastel colours found throughout Bermuda. All are non-smoking and feature a balcony or patio, air conditioning, cable TV, direct dial telephones, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, in-room safe, mini-refrigerator, and private bathroom amenities.

Coco Reef boasts a temperature-controlled swimming pool and 2 tennis courts, with individual and group lessons available from a certified tennis pro. Other amenities include 2 restaurants, concierge service, library, daily housekeeping, overnight laundry and dry cleaning service, free internet access and business services.

The hotel is conveniently located on the South Road, giving easy access by bus to both Hamilton and the Royal Naval Dockyard. Nearby attractions include the Bermuda Botanical Gardens, Elbow Beach, Paget Marsh and the Railway Trail. Wheels Cycles have a concession at the hotel for those who wish to explore the island on a scooter.

Bruce :
Great place to stay with nice rooms and friendly and attentive staff. A good way to sight see is by bus, they are reliable and cheap and you don't have to work out how to drive on the left. At night you can either dine intimately at the hotel or pop next door to Elbow Beach. Both places are fine. Highly recommended.
Julia :
This place is ideal. It's big enough to have everything you want on site eg. leisure facilities, and free internet, but still small enough to offer a bit of peace and relaxation. The room was lovely - spacious and clean, and the staff couldn't do enough for you. It's also great if you want to go anywhere by bus as it's on a good route.
Jimmy :
Must be one of the finest beaches on the island and the water is crystal clear. You can also use the hotel pool if you prefer and there are tennis courts available, with a resident professional, if you want to improve your game. Taxis into Hamilton are only about $10 each way, so you can easily and inexpensively go out there at night if you wish. Definitely worth considering.
Diana :
If you like peace and quiet and relaxing walks along the beach I guess this is the place for you.
Brad :
Superb place to stay if you want to be near the ocean. We had a beach front room and could hear the waves crashing in, which is just what we wanted. Great place for walks along the beach and the buffet breakfast provided the ideal start to the day. Staff were friendly too and we would recommend it.

The location is perfect as you can get to Hamilton, or either end of the Island very quickly. You can use their quiet beach or walk to Elbow Beach for walks. Staff was very friendly. Food was very good. I highly recommend the hotel. try the fish chowder at Paraquett down the street. The Islands best chowder. Very clean rooms.
Lisa T :
THE HOTEL HAS THE BEST BEACH IN BERMUDA AND IS CONVENIENT FOR HAMILTON. I LIKED IT BECAUSE IT WAS SMALL AND THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY.
Gene :
The beach here is very nice, in fact the nicest we saw during our stay in Bermuda. It's also very close to the hotel.
We ate at the restaurant some days and on other went to Mickey's which is down the beach at the Elbow Beach hotel.
All in all, a pretty good stay.
