Lantana

The Lantana cottage colony closed in 1998. In 2008 it was purchased by New York hedge fund manager Lawrence Doyle and plans were announced to build a luxury resort on the site.

Construction was due to begin at the start of 2009, with completion scheduled for summer 2010.

Hey Wendy, I don`t know cause I never stayed at the Lantana you know but I hear that they are going to redevelop the Horizons Cottages. So you know maybe keep an eye out for further developments. So now you know.

We waited too long! We spent our honeymoon here in 1984 and wanted to bring our grown children this year. What is there in Bermuda to come close to the casual elegance of the old Lantana?
