You could not find a better location if you are coming to Bermuda for a quiet, relaxing golf vacation. Munro Beach Cottages nestle between the world-famous Port Royal Golf Course and a private beach at Whitney Bay. It looks out westerly on the Atlantic Ocean guaranteeing spectacular sunset views.

There a various types of accommodation, all with ocean views, air conditioning fan, TV, radio and safe. The kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, coffee percolator and toaster. Barbecues and a daily maid service are also provided.

Munro Beach Cottages are quite secluded, but that’s one of their main selling points. Oh how we miss Munro Beach Cottages! It was a taste of paradise amidst the clamour of the rest of the world. I pray that it re-opens someday so that all of us pilgrims can return to the peace of that beautiful little beach.

Munro Beach was like the shore for our family. It held so many great memories and we were looking to make many more family memories in the years to come.
We are at a loss as to where we can go and have what we had there. IF Munro beach is ever re-established please let us know. We miss being there very much. And to Dawn and Valerie take care and our prayers are with you Dawn.

We spent our honeymoon at the cottages and were looking at returning for our 25th anniversary. The real essence of Munro was that it was not an oversized soulless place. It was an extended family home place that had the best views and waters in the whole country.
Thanks for the opportunity to be part of the family.

A piece of true Bermuda hospitality has passed on. You always felt you were staying with family rather than as a guest - probably learned more about the Island from Dawn and Roger than from any travel guide. Thank you for the memories.

We wanted to return to Munro Beach last summer for our anniversary and was sad to see it had closed. We always stayed at one of the end units. Dawn was great! We ended up going to 9 Beaches which was nice, but not as memorable as the view and convenience of the cottage. We'd love to know why it closed. It really WAS Bermuda for us.

It is so nice to read your comments. I do miss you all. Take care, Dawn

My husband and I visited the cottages many years ago and fell in love with Bermuda. We were told by the owner that Munro was the Scottish spelling of our English surname Monroe.

The essence of Bermuda could not have been more perfectly embodied than by those wonderfully understated cottages of Munro Beach. As much as we look forward to our next venture to the island, I feel we've lost a bit of "Bermuda". We will hold fast to some wonderful memories. Thank you.

We went to Munro for 9 years and loved every year. Would stay in side by side units usually #7 or #8.
Sorry to hear it closed. Great memories

My heart is broken!! When I was 10 years old my father was in the Canadian Navy and was stationed to Bermuda for 3 years. So when my family arrived in Bermuda, we stayed at Munro Beach Cottages for a few weeks until our house was ready to move into. Then 15 years later, I returned to Bermuda with my fiance to get married and we stayed for a glorious week at my favourite Munro Beach Cottages. Were hoping to return for our 20th anniversary but it looks like we'll need to find another favourite place. Thanks for the memories!

I had the wonderful experience to work at MunroBeach Cottages for almost 8 years. The family was a pleasure to work for and the setting was the nicest I have seen. I am going back to Bermuda for a couple of weeks of vacation and can't wait to see Dawn and John. I will also find a way to witness a sunset from the property and remember the numerous repeat guests I got to know over the years.

We visited half a dozen times, and knew we'd found our paradise. Last time was 2006, and I had a sad feeling that it might be our last visit. What happened to this beautiful property? We'll always cherish the memories!

Our hearts are broken. We will always cherish our memories of Munro Beach and the family who welcomed us each time. Yes, it WAS wonderful. Private, low-key and peaceful. God bless Dawn and family.

We always thought we'd get back before it was too late - we visited Munro Beach for several years & it was WONDERFUL - so sad to know it closed.
