St Regis Bermuda
In June 2009 Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced plans to open the St Regis Bermuda in Hamilton.
The hotel will be built what is currently a car park near Par-la-Ville Park. It will be the first hotel to open in Hamilton in 50 years.
The St Regis Bermuda will feature 140 rooms and suites, a spa, 2 restaurants, a bar, rooftop conservatory, outdoor courtyard, ballroom, and library. The development will also include 80 serviced apartments, with a separate entrance and dedicated concierge staff.
The hotel is scheduled to open in 2013.
The site has been earmarked for a hotel development for many years. Several hospitality groups have previously announced plans to build properties here; Carlson in 2004 and Ritz-Carlton in 2007.
