Heritage Court
During your vacation or business trip to Bermuda take time to visit the Heritage Court at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess and experience the traditional British custom of taking Afternoon Tea. Each day between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm, this lobby restaurant invites guests to step back into the Victorian era and enjoy this unique experience in the most majestic of surroundings.
Afternoon Tea at the Heritage Court is a byword for luxury. The breads, scones, pastries and sorbets which accompany the tea are all homemade by the hotel’s renowned pastry chef. Several teas are available, all of which have been specially selected by master tea blender John Harney. It’s all served in style too. The tea sets were designed by Arthur Price of England, silversmiths to the British Royal Family and designers of the cutlery which graced the tables of the Titanic, while the hand-woven table linens were supplied by Carlo Lamberti of Italy.
The Heritage Court isn’t just about Afternoon Tea though. In the morning, juices, pastries, fruit and patisseries will be gratefully welcomed by the business executive heading off to Hamilton for an important meeting. The main menu (available 11 am to 1 am) features a variety of tasty dishes such as Crispy Plantain Crusted Shrimp and Herb-Seared Rack of Lamb. A good selection of wines is available by the glass or bottle and the bar also offers an extensive collection of rums and champagnes. Live piano music during the evening creates a sophisticated yet informal setting.
