Ristorante Primavera and Omakase Sushi Bar
Primavera is located in a classic Bermudian building with pink walls and white detailing. However, what lies inside is distinctly Mediterranean. The restaurant is located on Pitt’s Bay Road, the westerly continuation of Front Street. Whilst not strictly in Hamilton, it’s only 5-10 minutes’ walk from the centre. Opposite the Fairmont Hamilton Princess, it’s a great choice for guests seeking an alternative to the hotel’s restaurants.
The owner, Odilio Angeli, who is originally from Lake Como in Italy has recently redesigned the interior to give it a more intimate and ambient atmosphere. The main dining room is ringed by well separated booths giving a great deal of privacy. No wonder then that it's a favourite with intermittent Bermuda residents Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones.
The menu offers traditional dishes that span various Italian regions and includes main courses such as Veal Scaloppine al Limone (thin veal slices in lemon butter sauce). Primavera also offers 17 different pizzas which should be enough to satisfy any palate. However, if you wish, they will gladly prepare one to your own specifications. If Italian is not your taste, the popular Omakase Sushi Bar is located upstairs.
