Taxis in Bermuda

On your arrival at LF Wade International Airport there will generally be a fleet of taxis waiting to take you to your hotel. No reservations are required and waiting times are generally short. Short waits occur when flights are delayed and several flights come into Bermuda at once.

Taxi ranks are found at various locations, including Front Street and Church Street in Hamilton, King’s Square in St George and at Royal Naval Dockyard. Additionally, many of the larger hotels have taxi ranks.

Taxi rates are fixed by law. Taxis are also able to provide guided tours of Bermuda. A blue flag on the hood of the taxi indicates that the driver is a qualified tour guide.

Hotels and many restaurants will be happy to call taxis. However, if you have to book your own taxi, various operators are available.

An appropriate tip for the driver is 10%.
