From its cliff-side perch this property has spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Clear View Suites is unique in this category of Bermuda accommodation in that breakfast, lunch and dinner can be provided in the complex’s Landfall Restaurant. An additional surprise is that there is an art gallery here too. Otto Trott, the son-in-law of proprietors Ruth and Gerald Paynter, is a respected Bermudian artist. We suspect he married into the family for the spectacular ocean views.
Clear View has 12 units and you can choose from a suite or a villa (which has a separate living room). Whichever you choose your accommodation will come with air conditioning, telephone and cable TV. They all have kitchenettes with electric stove, refrigerator, cutlery and all the pots and pans you will need. A microwave can be provided on request and there’s also a coin-operated laundry.
There is no beach at Clear View but the one at Shelly Bay is only 1 km away. Guests can take a leisurely coastal walk via the adjacent Railway Trail to reach it. Clear View also has 2 freshwater swimming pools and a tennis court reserved exclusively for its guests.
Clear View is ideally located for travel to both Hamilton and St George. Buses stop at the entrance to the property and both towns are about 20 minutes’ ride away. Picturesque Flatts Village and the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo, the most popular tourist attraction in Bermuda, are only 3 km away. LF Wade International Airport is around 4 km to the east, meaning that your arrival and departure is relatively quick (and cheap).
Looks like "Living Tree" is making identical promotional statements in all websites about Clearview. It indicates he/she is marketing Clearview rather than reviewing it.

Featuring wood floors, full kitchen, all with balconies overlooking the ocean. There is a walking trail (the old Bermuda Railway) running along the property. There is a restuarant on the property, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sunday Buffet offers a large selection of Bermuda Cuisine. Very good buffet.
The staff is very friendly and the views are outstanding. The room had problems with roaches and ants and things that didn’t work and were never fixed. Gets very loud by the pool at night with non-guests using the pool.
Fabulous stay… amazing view, serene surroundings, friendly staff, comfortable room. Away from the hustle and bustle of Hamilton, relatively close to St. George’s… great if you’re looking for a retreat.
