A full breakfast is included in the daily rate. It’s cooked to order by host Jane Greene and served in the dining room. The nearest supermarket is the Maxi Mart. Bus number 7 or 8 will take you directly there.
The closest beach is West Whale Bay. It’s small and disappears at high tide but the view from the park is spectacular. It can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. The Port Royal Golf Course is also nearby and is widely regarded as one of the best public courses in the world.
The guest house is served by two bus routes. Both travel between Hamilton and Dockyard but take different routes. Bus number 8 goes along Middle Road while bus number 7 takes South Road. The route followed by bus number 7 is the best for tourists. It’s more scenic and will take you to attractions such as Church Bay, Horseshoe Bay, the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Jobson’s Cove, and Elbow Beach. Places to eat and drink on the route include Henry VIII and the Swizzle Inn South Shore.
The Bermuda Railway Trail runs through Southampton Parish and up into Sandys. It’s a nice relaxing walk. Follow the trail north from Greene’s Guest House and you’ll see Somerset Bridge, Fort Scaur, the Heydon Trust Estate, and the Gilbert Nature Reserve.

I love Bermuda and visit often. I have also stayed at a number of resorts/guesthouses on the island, but i simply adore the quaint and relaxing feel of Greene’s Guest House. The rooms, house, and grounds are kept up beautifully. The owners that run the run the establishment are warm and eager to assist. I would strongly recommend this guest house as a place to stay at. You truly get your money’s worth.
