Newstead Belmont Hills is a contemporary boutique hotel in Paget. It enjoys a great location overlooking Hamilton Harbour and offers many facilities more often associated with larger resorts.
Accommodation options range from 450 square foot studios to huge 2,500 square foot three-bedroom apartments with kitchens and separate living and dining areas. All types offer modern amenities such flat screen TVs and free wireless internet access, plus private balconies or patios with commanding views of the harbour and Hamilton.
Newstead Belmont Hills has some of the best leisure facilities on the island. The 18-hole golf course dates back to the 1920s but was extensively redesigned in 2002 by California-based designer Algie Pulley. It’s short but challenging and features narrow fairways and multiple water hazards. The course is situated 1 mile west of the hotel. Guests receive a complimentary round of golf plus transport to the course.
The onsite spa boasts four treatment rooms, two luxury treatment suites, steam rooms and a hair salon. Treatments offered include massage, aromatherapy, waxing, plus manicures and pedicures. Other leisure facilities include two tennis courts and a fitness room.
The hotel doesn’t have its own beach. In fact there aren’t any on this side of Paget. It does however boast a gorgeous infinity pool and sundeck. Guests of the hotel can also use the beach and pool at Coco Reef. Complimentary transport is provided.
There are two restaurants at the hotel. Beau Rivage is French restaurant at the main property with great views of the harbour. Diners can sample the culinary creations of Jean-Claude Garzia, an award-winning chef and author of two Bermuda-inspired cookbooks. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also hosts a jazz brunch on Sundays. The other dining option is Blu, a steakhouse and seafood restaurant at the golf course.
Guests wishing to explore Bermuda can take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary water shuttle service to Hamilton. It’s a short but scenic trip to the capital where you’ll find a multitude of shops, restaurants and bars, plus attractions such as the Bermuda National Gallery, BUEI, and Fort Hamilton. The island’s main bus station and ferry terminal are also here.
The hotel is situated on Harbour Road in Paget Parish. The main tourist attractions in the area are the Botanical Gardens (also home to Camden and Masterworks), Elbow Beach, and Waterville. For a unique Bermuda experience wake up early to see Johnny Barnes at Crow Lane. Places to eat in Paget include the Fourways Inn, Paraquet, and Mickey’s. The nearest supermarket is the A-1 Paget, just over ½ mile from the hotel.
Middle Road is just a short walk from the property. From here you can catch bus number 8 to Hamilton or Dockyard.
LF Wade International Airport is 10 miles from Newstead Belmont Hills. Free transport is provided from the airport (to arrange call or email no later than 48 hours prior to your arrival time).

I am so looking forward to spending 2 nights at Newstead in April. It is a beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms and views of Hamilton Harbour. This hotel has the best rates on the island. Feel the Love.
