Yes, NCL, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean offer babysitting.
Norwegian Cruise Line
NCL offers group babysitting for children aged 2 to 12 between 10 pm and 1 am (9 am to 5 pm while in port). The cost is $5/hour ($3/hour for each additional child in the same family).
NCL does not offer private babysitting.
Princess Cruises
While at sea Princess Cruises offers group babysitting for children aged 3 to 12 between 10 pm and 1 am at a cost of $5/hour. In port free babysitting and supervised activities are offered to children aged 3 to 17.
Princess Cruises does not offer private babysitting.
Royal Caribbean International
Royal Caribbean offers private babysitting in staterooms. The cost is $8 per hour for 1 to 2 children from the same family.
Their Adventure Ocean Youth Programme (open to potty-trained children aged 3 to 17) is free until 10 pm. Group sitting from 10 pm until 1 am is available at $5/hour.
Parents should also note that children who are not fully toilet trained are not allowed in the swimming pools of any cruise ship. Swimmers, diapers and pull-ups are forbidden.
