Cruise Ship Schedules

Around 90 percent of cruise passengers arrive in Bermuda on a regular/contracted cruise ship.

Cruise ships depart from ports on the east coast of the United States and dock in Bermuda at Royal Naval Dockyard (Kings Wharf/Heritage Wharf) or Hamilton.

2012

Carnival Cruise Lines have significantly reduced their visits to Bermuda in 2012 after failing to obtain prime berthing spots (taken by Celebrity Cruises, NCL, and Royal Caribbean). Their only ship visiting the island in 2012 will be the Carnival Pride (one visit in April as part of a 7-day cruise from Baltimore).

Princess Cruises’ Caribbean Princess will not visit the island regularly in 2012. Instead she is scheduled to make one visit only, as part of a 4-night cruise to Bermuda in October.

In 2012 most of the regular callers will dock at Royal Naval Dockyard. The Veendam is the only ship that will dock in Hamilton on a regular basis.

There are no contracted ships docking at St George in 2012.

Regular callers will be:

2011

2011 sees the return of Carnival Cruise Lines to Bermuda. The cruise operator is offering 16 departures from Charleston, Baltimore, New York and Norfolk this year.

Again, Holland America Line’s Veendam is the only ship regularly visiting Hamilton.

2010

In 2010 the Holland America Line’s Veendam will be the first regular ship to dock in Hamilton for several years.

The year also marks the return of Celebrity Cruises to the island. The Celebrity Summit will be their first ship visiting Bermuda since the Zenith in 2006.

NCL have sold the Norwegian Majesty to European operator Louis Cruises. She will no longer be sailing to Bermuda.
