Do I need to take cash on the cruise?

It’s not necessary to take a lot, but it’s always wise to take a little for incidentals at the port.

There are ATMs within walking distance of the cruise terminals in Kings Wharf and St George. Ships also have ATMs dispensing US dollars (withdrawal fees are typically $5).

NCL, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean operate a cashless payment system. Passengers charge their account with a credit card and simply sign for purchases as incurred. An itemised statement is issued at the end of the cruise.

All items on board ships are priced in US dollars.

The official currency in Bermuda is the Bermuda dollar. The exchange rate with the US dollar is fixed at 1:1. US currency is accepted everywhere.
