Is the sand really pink?

Yes, but some beaches in Bermuda are pinker than others.

The beaches of South Shore Park have the pinkest sand (Warwick Long Bay, Horseshoe Bay, Jobson Cove, and Chaplin Bay).

The colour comes from the pink shells of microscopic sea creatures called foraminifera.
