How much will a taxi cost?

All taxis in Bermuda have meters with rates are set by the government. Standard fares are:

  • 1-4 persons, $4.80 for the first mile, $1.68 for each subsequent mile, plus $3.12 surcharge
  • 5-6 persons, $6 for the first mile, $2.10 for each subsequent mile, plus $3.90 surcharge

Visitors should note that taxis can be quite difficult to obtain on Friday and Saturday evenings.
