Job Description:
The candidate will be expected to take a lead role in the financial planning activities, financial reporting, budgetary analysis, and other general research activities in the Retail and Corporate Banking Division of the company.
Core responsibilities include:-
• Planning for and preparing quarterly and annual financial forecasts.
• Performing a review of actual performance against forecasted on a monthly basis and providing corrective action proposals.
• Review and control of Income and Expenditure items and actively provide suggestions for corrective action to VP’s and SVP’s.
• Timely preparation of required regulatory reports.
• Liaise with auditors (internal & external).
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by senior management.
Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, plus financial services experience.
• A Professional Accounting Qualification.
• Knowledge of bank services and products.
• Research/Presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and accounting applications.
