Job Description:

As an audit senior for a Big 4 firm you will be assigned to the audits of primarily financial services firms operating within Bermuda focused on Insurance and Investments. Key attributes for the role include:-

• Ability to communicate effectively with the client and develop a working relationship.
• An ability to work within a team and to communicate effectively with the team.
• An understanding of the accounting and disclosure issues associated with each client.
• A consciousness of deadlines and effective communication of potential issues to the client and senior management.

Requirements:

• An international accounting designation (ACA, CPA, CA or ACCA or equivalent).
• Prior audit experience is highly advantageous.
• Financial services experience, specifically in insurance and/or investments is also an advantage.
• IT proficiency with audit software and major applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of UK/US/Canadian GAAP and IFRS.
