On behalf of a well established retail grocery chain in Bermuda we are seeking experienced retail staff and management including:

We are seeking applicants for the following roles:

• Meat Managers and Butchers / Meat Cutters
• Bakers / Cake Decorators
• Assistant / Store Manager
• Produce Manager

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as an Meat Manager / Meat Cutter or Baker / Cake Decorator or Assistant / Store Manager or Produce Manager in a retail grocery setting
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evenings, and weekends
• The ability to accept responsibility for the effective functioning of the store or your particular department
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation is competitive and nearly completely tax-free! (only 4.75% payroll tax).

A well known supermarket group in Bermuda has several job openings for butchers. All applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience in the meat trade, particularly fresh meat including the ability to break down a full carcass and use a bandsaw. Preference will be given to those candidates who have a proven ability to prepare and display fresh meat with a strong emphasis on personal counter service. Knowledge of fresh fish and European cheeses along with a background in prepared and value added products would also be desirable.
