• An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major, as well as an accounting designation i.e. ACCA, CA, CGA, CPA etc.
• Approximately 8 years of experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm, or particular business/industry experience to meet special needs
• Excellent project management skills
Main Job Function
• Develop/maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers throughout the year to communicate value and inform them of the firm’s scope of services r
• Provide guidance/expertise and participate in the performance of audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues
• Collaborate to plan objectives and determine an audit strategy that appropriately addresses risk
• Establish the expectations of the value to be delivered. Successfully monitor the engagement team against the budget, and alter if necessary.

Primary duties will include:
- Responsible for the Group economic capital modeling
- Develop model specifications, process, controls, output, and reporting requirements
- Peer review, oversight, and management of best practices for the European legal entity modeling
- Capital attribution for pricing purposes
- Evaluate the deployment of capital to achieve optimal returns within risk constraints

Requirements:
- FCAS (Fellow of the Casualty Actuary Society) or FIA (Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries) or equivalent
- A minimum of 7 years of quantitative and risk analysis experience in a similar role within the (re)insurance sector

We are seeking an experienced Actuary to join their Bermuda office of our client, a leading international reinsurer. This individual will report directly to the Group Chief Actuary and will be responsible for overseeing the Group Non-Life reserving function.

Applicants should hold Fellow of the Casualty Actuary Society (FCAS) or Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) or equivalent qualification and have at least 10 years of experience in (re)insurance with exposure to pricing and reserving.

Duties will include but may not be limited to:
- Oversee Group quarterly reserve processes and peer review of business unit reserve studies
- Implement group reserving models and reserving analytics
- Discussion in the MD&A section of the 10Q and 10K relating to reserves
- Interact with external auditors as required
- Manage a small team of qualified Actuaries
- Make presentations to Executive Management

We are seeking a Cisco focused Network Consultant with prior experience in an IT consulting/professional services environment to join our client in Bermuda.

This role requires Cisco certification (such as CCNP, CCSP, CCDP) and a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role. Certification in other relevant areas such as Check Point would be preferable.

Applicants should have a strong design and implementation background related to routing/switching and security (ideally Cisco and Check Point) products. We are seeking a motivated sales professional with a background in the telecommunications service provider industry to join our client, a leading provider of communications services to both business and residential customers in Bermuda.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a generous base salary and lucrative commission plan – with only 4.75% tax. They will be expected to consistently achieve sales objectives for an assigned customer segment while producing account development plans for each major customer. Regular duties will include prospecting activity, relationship building, sales forecasting, sales pitches and negotiations.

Requirements:
- A University Business Degree or equivalent, with three years Communications sales experience is essential; or five years Communications Sales experience is essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of current internet, global MPLS, voice, private line and networking technologies is essential
- Excellent communication and presentation skills combined with the ability to interface with Senior level customers at both the CEO and IT department levels
- The ability to influence customer decision makers at senior levels
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver against objectives while working within multiple departments on behalf of the customer
