Pembroke Parish
Pembroke Parish is one of the central districts of Bermuda. It is the busiest, most populated area of the island, and encompasses the capital; the City of Hamilton.
It is named after William Herbert, 3rd Earl of Pembroke (1580 – 1630)
Hotels
Hamilton is the business and administrative centre of Bermuda. It offers a good selection of hotels ranging from small properties such as Sunflower to the business-orientated Fairmont Hamilton Princess.
Of the properties listed below the Fairmont Hamilton Princess is the only hotel on the waterfront. All are in, or just a short walk from, the city centre.

Attractions and Activities
All of the attractions listed below, with the exception of Admiralty House Park/Clarence Cove, are in or within easy walking distance of Hamilton:
- Admiralty House Park and Clarence Cove – pleasant park and small beach, overlooked by most visitors
- Albuoy’s Point – waterfront park near Hamilton ferry terminal and the Bank of Bermuda
- Bermuda Historical Society Museum – small museum near Par-la-Ville Park
- Bermuda National Gallery – houses the national art collection, located in City Hall
- Bermuda Society of Arts Gallery – in City Hall
- Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI) – on East Broadway, just outside Hamilton, interactive exhibits exploring the mysteries of the ocean
- Cabinet Building – government building
- Cenotaph – war memorial
- City Hall – impressive whitewashed building, headquarters of the Corporation of Hamilton
- Par-la-Ville Park – charming city centre park
- Perot Post Office – in our opinion the world’s greatest post office
- Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity (Bermuda Cathedral) – climb to the top for a good view of the city
- Fort Hamilton – restored fort with great views of Hamilton
- Sessions House – government building
- Victoria Park – hosts free concerts throughout the summer
- WER Joell Tennis Stadium (formerly known as the Government Tennis Stadium) – tennis courts and lessons

Transport - Buses, Ferries
Hamilton is Bermuda’s main transport hub. All public bus and ferry routes begin here.
The main bus station is on Church Street (next to City Hall), while the ferry terminal is located at the western end of Front Street (near the Bank of Bermuda building).
