Carriage House closes
January 3rd, 2010One of the best known restaurants in St George has closed.
The Carriage House Restaurant & Bar is the latest victim of the economic slowdown affecting the historic town.
In 2010 only one cruise ship, the Veendam, will call at St George. It will only spend one night there and, and as announced last month, will anchor at sea rather than dock.

I am so sorry to see Carriage House is closed. We have been coming to Bermuda since the 1980′s and always had such warm, wonderful service and food. Thank you for many meals that brought us much pleasure.
