Neil Stephens, former general manager of the Reefs, has purchased the Rosemont Guest Apartments from long-time owners, the Cooper family.

The Lantana Spa & Resort, which was due to open in late 2007, has been put on the market priced at $18.5 million through Coldwell Banker JW Bermuda Realty.

Bermuda’s Waterloo House hotel has been named the 16th Best Hotel in the World and the Best in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas by readers of Travel and Leisure magazine.

Bermuda was ranked as 4th Best Island in the region.

The Reefs hotel has been ranked third Best in the Caribbean for Quality of Service by Travel and Leisure magazine.

Fairmont and Riddell’s Bay Golf and Country Club have made an agreement that will allow guests of the Fairmont Southampton and Hamilton Princess to play the course at Riddell’s Bay. In return golf club members will enjoy access to the Fairmont hotels and discount rates.

In March of this year, Fairmont revealed plans to replace the existing 18-hole course with a 9-hole version and build vacation villas and golf residences on the freed land.
