New Ferry Service Launched
November 17th, 2006Sea Express has launched a new ferry service. The Orange commuter route will leave St David’s at 7.15 am, arriving in St George at 7.30 am and Hamilton at 8.20 am. The return ferry will leave Hamilton at 5.20 pm, arriving in St George at 6.10 pm and St. David’s at 6.20 pm. During the summer the Orange route will continue to operate frequent services throughout the day between Hamilton and Royal Naval Dockyard.

This is my first expirence in using the St. George’s Ferry, though enjoyable and certainly has you in the City with plenty of time to make work, I do feel and hope that consideration will be given for more options for the East Enders to use this wonderful mode of transportation. I personally would like to see the more choices of the times one can use the ferry services, particually in the evening, I finish work at 5:30pm so I am unable to return.
