If you can’t get a tee time or just wish to pass a few hours improving your stroke, the Bermuda Golf Academy is just for you.
The main feature is its 320-yard driving range. 25 of the 40 practice bays are covered, making it an ideal location to spend a rainy day. The Academy also has a sand trap so you can practice bunker play. For those who need a bit of putting practice there is a 3,000 square foot practice green. A basket of balls costs $5 in the day and $6 after 5 pm.
The Bermuda Golf Academy has state-of-the-art video equipment which can record and analyse your swing. Owner Richard Farge can then provide lessons for those in need of a little help.
Families or those seeking just a bit of fun may wish to try a round of miniature golf. The Academy’s 18-hole adventure course is beautifully landscaped and takes about 40 minutes to complete. A round costs $12 for adults and $8 for children and seniors.
If all these golfing activities have sharpened your appetite you can dine at the East Meets West restaurant here. If offers and Indian and Asian menu at extremely reasonable prices.
The Bermuda Golf Academy is open every day of the week, from 9 am until 10 pm. East Meets West opens 9 am to 10.30 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 11 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
