During your vacation or business trip to Bermuda take time to visit the Heritage Court at the Hamilton Princess and experience the traditional British custom of taking afternoon tea. Each day between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm, this lobby restaurant invites guests to step back into the Victorian era and enjoy this unique experience in the most majestic of surroundings.
Afternoon tea at the Heritage Court is a byword for luxury. The breads, scones, pastries and sorbets which accompany the tea are all homemade by the hotel’s renowned pastry chef. Several teas are available, all of which have been specially selected by master tea blender John Harney. It’s all served in style on a silver tray with Belgian china.
The Heritage Court isn’t just about afternoon tea though. The main menu features a variety of tasty dishes such as Kenroy’s West Indian Chicken Curry and Atlantic Cod Fillet. Salads, soups, club sandwiches and burgers area also available. After a hard day’s work, the busy executive will appreciate the late night menu available from 11.30 pm onwards.
A good selection of wines is available by the glass or bottle and the bar also offers an extensive collection of cocktails, martinis and speciality coffees and teas. Cuban cigars can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week. Hours are 11.30 am (10.30 on Sundays) to 1 am. The suggested dress code and smart casual and reservations are recommended.
The Fairmont Hamilton Princess is situated on Pitts Bay Road, just west of Hamilton Ferry Terminal.
