This seafood restaurant in St George specialises in the wahoo, Bermuda’s favourite game fish. Many other restaurants on the island offer wahoo dishes but peruse the menu here and you’ll see an entire page of them.
Wahoo Chowder, Smoked Wahoo Pate, Wahoo Nuggets, and Wahoo Tacos are just some of the wahoo offerings. The Rockfish Picasso one a several not incorporating wahoo and is ironically the chef’s favourite and best known creation. Seasoned rockfish fillets are pan-fried with a fruit salad and crystallised ginger then flambéed with Grand Marnier.
Patrons can dine in the bistro-style dining area, enjoy views of St George’s Harbour from the deck and covered patio out back, or watch the world go by from one of the tables out front.
The restaurant is situated on Water Street in St George, just a short walk from Kings Square and the ferry terminal. It’s open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Sunday. Hours are 11.30 am to 9.30 pm.
