This mini golf course is one of the latest attractions to open at Royal Naval Dockyard, a former British naval base and now Bermuda’s major cruise port.
Occupying a one acre waterfront location, Bermuda Fun Golf features 18 challenging holes, each representing a signature hole from some of the most famous courses in Bermuda, the US, and Scotland.
A round begins with a miniature interpretation of the 5th at the Mid Ocean Club, the most famous and exclusive golf club in Bermuda. Drive you ball over ‘Mangrove Lake’ to succeed where Babe Ruth famously failed. After that it’s the 18th at Belmont Hills, and then the legendary 16th from Port Royal. Other courses represented include the Pine Valley Golf Club in New Jersey, the Cypress Point Club in California, the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, and Muirfield in Scotland.
After a round you can retire to the Caddy Shack bar to celebrate your win or drown your sorrows.
Bermuda Fun Golf is suitable for all ages. A round costs $15 for adults and $12 for children. In the summer it’s open 7 days a week from 10 am to 10 pm. The course can also be hired for children’s parties and private events.
The course is situated at the northern end of Royal Naval Dockyard. Go through the entrance to Snorkel Park to find it. It’s just a 10 minute walk from the cruise ships docks at Kings Wharf and Heritage Wharf. Visitor coming from elsewhere on the island can catch a bus or ferry. Bus number 7 and bus number 8 travel from Hamilton to Dockyard. There’s a year-round ferry service from Hamilton to Dockyard and a seasonal service from St George.
Unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to play the course due to time restrictions of our cruise, but will definately get in a round on my next visit to Bermuda. One of the most unique layouts I have ever seen!
I loved the layout of the course. It kept bringing you back to the bar and another cold beer. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon.
This is the best and most unique mini golf course in the world. We went with a group from our cruise ship and had a blast. We were advised to go at sunset and were glad we did. The views are incredible. We loved it and will return on our next cruise.
This must have the best views of any mini-golf course in the world. Even though I’m a fairly decent golfer I still had fun here. The holes were well done and based on real golf courses around the world.
My family had an awesome time at this great miniature golf course. The course is very detailed and unlike other I have seen. Don’t forget your camera. Prices are good and there’s a full bar. People running the place were very friendly.
