There is only one round trip on Tuesdays and Fridays, departing Dockyard at 9:30 am and returning from St George at 2:00 pm.
The ferry journey between Dockyard and St George takes approximately 40 minutes. This makes it a convenient and scenic way to travel between these two historic locations.
Hunter’s Wharf, where the ferry docks, is conveniently located for exploring St George’s attractions. Many notable sites, including the State House, St Peter’s Church, and Tucker House Museum, are within walking distance. For those interested in visiting Tobacco Bay Beach, it’s approximately 3/4 mile from the ferry stop. While this is walkable, taxis are also available for those who prefer to avoid walking. If you don’t see any taxis at the ferry terminal upon arrival, they can often be found at King’s Square. This central location makes the ferry an excellent option for visitors looking to explore the historic town of St George and its surrounding areas.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) Ferry Service
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) operates a private ferry service between Royal Naval Dockyard and St George exclusively for its cruise ship passengers.
This service is separate from the Orange Route public ferry and is only available to NCL cruise guests.
It provides a convenient way for NCL passengers to visit St George’s historic sites and attractions during their stay in Bermuda.
